WHAT is PTP?Parent-Teacher Partnership (PTP) plays a vital role in the support and execution of many important events at
MHCS. Our purpose is to unite our campus in Christian faith while serving as a liaison to help and promote
the welfare of the students, parents, faculty, and staff of MHCS. PTP makes the fun happen on campus!
WHO is invited to be part of PTP?
If you are an MHCS parent or grandparent, we invite you to join our team! Most of our board positions are
filled for this school year, but we do have a few still available. You do not need to be a board member to attend
our monthly PTP meetings. We welcome you to come and hear how you might get involved on campus!
There are many ways to participate and you will make new friends while having a great time. So just come to a
meeting and see what sparks your interest. We are always better when we are working together.
WHEN and WHERE does PTP Meet?
Our monthly meetings will be in the new Pier 56 (rooms 305-306) at 1:30 PM until school is released at 3:00.
If you would like to be more involved, but a monthly daytime meeting will not work for you, please let us
know. A particular committee may meet at a different time. There are numerous ways to be involved with PTP
even if you are unable to attend the monthly meetings. For now, please mark your calendar for the following
PTP board meetings this Fall: Friday, September 7th and Friday, October 5th at 1:30-3:00 PM.
Order your Spirit Wear Shirts! Deadline is Friday, September 7th!
Please use the attached form and submit it by this Friday! Each student should have a shirt to wear for Spirit
Days and off-campus field trips. The theme this year is “TRUST” and the design is awesome! Jr High shirts are
black and there is a girls or boys cut for the t-shirts. Elementary students’ shirts are royal blue and all have the
same standard cut. Sample sizes of the shirts are in the office. Order today!!
Chick-Fil-A Spirit PTP Lunch on Friday, September 21st!
Don’t miss our first PTP lunch and Spirit Day! Cost is $5/lunch. Use the attached form to place your orders.
PTP Lunches are for all students JK-8th grade and staff and they are the primary way PTP raises funds for
activities during the year. Please support the fun PTP lunches once a month!
**We are looking for volunteers to help with our first PTP lunch. All volunteer hours will go toward your
required 15 hour annual commitment. If you are interested, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Lisa
