Thank you for your interest in our International Students Program….
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT
Mission Hills Christian School International Students Program seeks to provide a welcoming, safe environment in which international students can receive an excellent education, develop meaningful friendships, and grow in their knowledge of Christ and His plan for their lives.
There is one God, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for our sins, rose from the dead and will return again.
The Holy Spirit works to convict unbelievers of their sin, to transform the believer into Christ-likeness, to indwell the Christian as a testimony to the promise of redemption, to empower the Christian for life and service through the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and to give spiritual gifts to believers for the building up of the Church.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is the revelation of Himself and of His redemptive purposes for all human persons. The Bible is the only authoritative standard for Christian belief and practice. It is truthful and reliable in all that it teaches and affirms.
Salvation is a free gift of God’s grace and is received through faith in Jesus Christ because of his death on the cross for our sins in order to reconcile us to God.
The Body of Christ is comprised of all Christians. The local church is a disciple-making community of believers that is gifted and empowered to fulfill the Great Commission.
Mission Hills Christian School welcomes international students whose families desire for them to receive an excellent academic education from a Christian worldview. We are accredited by both Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and our students score in the top 10% on national standardized testing. Our graduates make strong transitions to both private and public high schools and have gone on to graduate from such universities as UCLA, USC, Stanford, Westmont, Auburn, and Rice. Our program is designed to develop the whole child — academically, spiritually, and relationally.
Mission Hills Christian School offers an academically challenging curriculum along with enrichment opportunities such as music, physical education, computer science, foreign language, drama, art, and a full competitive sports program. Students also participate in spelling bee, speech meet, math olympics, and creative writing festival. At the heart of our mission is the desire to see every student thriving in their relationship with Christ. Weekly chapel, Bible study, prayer, and a balanced integration of faith into all aspects of learning are at the heart of our mission to see our students thrive in their knowledge of Christ and His love for them.
