Recreation program C&R exists to serve MHCS families by providing appropriate supervision and activities to all currently enrolled students during specified non-school hours. C&R seeks to further the development of each child by maintaining consistency with the standard policies found in the school's Parent-Student Handbook.

Hours and Usage

C&R is available on regular school days from 7:00 am until 8:15 am, and from the end of class to 6:00 pm. On minimum scheduled days, C&R is available from 12:45 pm until 6:00 pm.

Payment Information

C&R uses a Prepaid Account System or an annual contract rather than a billing system. Families using C&R prepay for a minimum of five hours (or more depending on their usage). A reminder notice is mailed to the family when their account reaches two hours of usage remaining. C&R is available at the following rates:

• 1 child  $5 per hour
• 2 children  $7.50 per hour
• 3 or more children  $8.50 per hour

Fees are deducted in half-hour increments with a 5-minute grace period. Families who use C&R more than 50 hours per month on a regular basis are encouraged to sign an annual contract. Payment is made in (10) equal monthly payments based on the number of children needing C&R. Annual contracts are available at discounted rates.
