Welcome from Head of School

How do you describe greatness – is it position, power, or wealth? In Luke 22:26, the Bible describes greatness as being a servant of others. In a culture of self-centeredness, it is a joy to know that with God’s help, we can raise our children to be more givers rather than just takers. In an environment of love and acceptance, Mission Hills Christian School partners with parents to develop children of greatness – to be servant leaders, to love God, to be lifelong learners, and to be world changers for Christ. I am very proud of the thousands of students who have attended MHCS and the impact they are making in the world. Mission Hills is a community, a family, a place to belong. It is a place where relationships are established on trust and respect, where students grow spiritually, academically and socially, and where parents enjoy a strong network of support. This is a great place! History teaches important lessons. Thirty-six years of MHCS history has taught us to remain committed to our mission, to trust God for His provision and guidance, and to continuously seek innovative and creative ways to carry out God’s purposes for our school. Testimonials from parents and students consistently confirm that we are indeed fulfilling the mission to which we are called. Quarterly initiatives continue to move us forward toward enriching and adding new programs as well as improving curriculum, facilities, and equipment. Our School Board of Trustees, comprised of parents, community leaders, and educators, is passionate about carrying on Mission Hills Christian School’s history of greatness. The school administrative team is constantly evaluating our program and personnel and prayerfully making God-sized plans for our future. We look forward to seeing God’s faithful hand at work in our current families as well as in each new family that joins the Mission Hills community each year. It is an honor to serve you, Larry Ahl CEO/Head of School lahl@missionhillscs.org 949.589-4504   Ephesians 2:19 “…you are fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household.”
